Timken expansion plans in Steel City

Timken India, a subsidiary of US-based Timken, is planning expansion in Jamshedpur. It first began manufacturing operations here in 1989. CMD Sanjay Koul talks to TOI.Timken has expanded its portfolio beyond taper roller bearings, its core product, over the last decade and continues to add various products.Yes, under the 'Make in India' programme, we have expansion plans here.We have completed 25 years in Jamshedpur and have started a new plant here. We are looking forward to ease of business and market expansion.We are very optimistic about the plans under the current state leadership. Jharkhand is a rich state in terms of natural resources and urbanization.
